Now I get your point. Well, that's not a contradiction to my mail.
I wrote how things are defined and you say that MS does not care.
I shouldn't be surprised.

If the current OE versions indeed generate broken MIME words, I will
change the code that way, but using a macro, so we can go back to RFC
conforming behaviour after MS fixed their code. Could you please check
which versions are affected? I don't have OE, or Windows for that matter,
to check it out.
