[Exim] Exim Connect Problem

Hello together,

i can a strange problem with Exim 4.12:

When the Mailrelay trys to connect to a partner MTA, i get this error:

2003-03-21 05:19:59 18vuoy-0001nx-00 == smtp_master@???
<SMTP_Master@???>
R=dnslookup T=remote_smtp defer (-53): retry time not reached for any host

To test the networkconnection with a simple telnet to port 25, everthink
looks OK.

Connected to smtpgate.xxx.xx.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 Welcome to XXX, SMTP spoken here ....
helo world
250 OK
quit
221 xxx.xx closing
Connection closed by foreign host.
ints1045:~/exim_save #

Is it possibel that Exim has cached an older connection problem? (We have
make Power off on all system last weekend on our side)

When its a cachingproblem - how can i del it?
