I have a backup MX server to an exim 3.36 server on two separate
networks. The backup is working as it should, but it failing when it
tries to connect to the primary. I thought it might be a DNS resolving
issue, but that made no difference. Even if I manually telnet to port
25, it takes almost 60 seconds to get the 220 "welcome" string.
No other hosts have problems connecting, so it has to be something
wonky. Any ideas? TIA.
