Everyone does, after they tried it ;)
It saves you headaches, is more flexible and more powerful, Philip did a
great job to make exim4 better than exim3. (And exim3 was/is still quite
good)

Well, convert4r4 does a great job in converting the config (but
sometimes it's better to start from scratch).
