I am using 3.36!
How will those options help my situation? Where do I change the setting
regarding frozen messages?

What I basically want is the exim server to send the "returned message
error" from the mailer-daemon back to the user that sent the message (From:
address) and not overwrite and always send to the main domain e-mail account
no matter of the sender?

I have basically set the sender of the PHP script to nobody@???. With
the my old sendmail server this would return the error messages to that
address that would forward the mails to /dev/null
