Hi All

Sorry to bother you all but as a newbie to Exim I have been given another challenge that I have not been able to solve despite my hours of doing searches on the Internet, please excuse me if this seems very simple to some but this is all new to me. It seems that some of our users can not send to certain sites and I can not figure it out. Basically the mail bounces back as seen below:

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

  danhall@???
    Connection timed out:
    retry timeout exceeded

I checked the log for one of the test mails I had sent and had bounced back:

I am running Spam Assassin and MailScanner on my RH 7.1 server so I ran the following command in debug mode and got the result below which shows that it can do the DNS lookup all right but for some reason we can drive her home.

From what I can see above it knows where to go but just can't get there. I don't know what other information I can supply to bring this problem to light but if someone could throw a bone my way I would greatly appreciate it. Please feel free to contact me on or off line. Thanking one and all for any and all help in advance.

Thank You
