Well, seeing as how most other MTA's have no built-in filtering of their
own, procmail has become the de-facto standard for mail filtering on
non-Exim *nix boxen. Knowing it would certainly be a valuable skill if you
support these types of systems, or are forced to use one regularly yourself.
Neither the former nor the latter apply to me, so I choose to be ignorant.
I like Exim's filtering much better.
