I use something like:
smart_route:
driver = manualroute
condition = ${lookup{$domain}partial-lsearch{/etc/exim/smart_route}{true}{false}}
transport = remote_smtp
self = pass
route_list = * SMARTHOST bydns
replace SMARTHOST with your ISP's (or otherwise preferred) mailserver.
The list of domains to use can be found under
http://www.erwied.de/smart_route (updated regularly)
It contains nothing but a wildcarded list of domains, for example in
your case a line with '*.aol.com'
