on a related point, it is in my opinion a bad idea to have such large
networks (or any network) allowed to use the server as a relay unless
one has absolute control on what machines are added to the
physical(or virtual..) network itself and who has access to them.
Forcing AUTH from *all* outgoing relay requests facilitates the
identification of the culprit of a spam run.
