There is no current solution. There is an item on the Wish List to make
it possible to modify log lines. This has not been implemented (and is
unlikely to be done in the immediate future). Sorry about that, but
there are only so many hours in the day...
At least I now know that there are at least 2 different potential uses
for this feature.
