I tried manually from here, and it did advertise AUTH LOGIN (and Exim
version 4.12). So, if you see a few connection log entries from me
(64.105.159.238), please ignore them. I was just testing for you.
Perhaps it has something to do with the fact you telnetted from
localhost? I'm guessing, but take a look at your "auth_advertise_hosts"
setting?
