i'm using exim on debian stable. from time to time i get the
following message written to the mainlog :
"unexpected disconnection while reading SMTP command from [IP_address]
what does this message mean ? i receive also some complaints from
users telling us that they don't receive certain messages from remote
hosts. we feel that this could be connected.
often they send us error messages which have been received from these
remote users. sendmail produced them a 550 user unknown error even
though it never talked to our system because there has been this
"disconnection". is this a wrong behavior of sendmail ?
