I'm using exim4.
Got this strange message in my rejectlog
2003-02-18 15:23:45 rejected HELO from [nnn.nn.nnn.nnn]: syntactically
invalid argument(s): some.domain.com
2003-02-18 15:39:15 rejected EHLO from [nnn.nn.nnn.nnn]: syntactically
invalid argument(s): some.domain.com
I can see this log for at least the last 24 hours.
When i try to access "nnn.nn.nnn.nnn" on port 25, I get answer from a
mailserver:
220 some.domain.com Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service, Version: 5.0.2195.2966
ready at Tue, 18 Feb 2003 16:20:45 +0100
I have replaces the IP and the domain name with something else...
I can't find the ip address in my dns. But I can see that
"some.domain.com" is on the same subnet as "nnn.nn.nnn.nnn"
any ideas what's wrong?
