Hi all,
There has been some discussion about having an extra exim/email learning
day prior to the normal summer one run by Philip Hazel in Cambridge.
We decided to try an organise one here at Loughborough University for
the 16th of April. It is non profit making and aimed at a sharing of
ideas between people running exim. Speakers so far are:
Philip Hazel talking about exim processes and how they hang together or
possibly if there is more demand on regular expressions and how exim
uses them.
Yann Golanski on integration of large scale systems.
Mike Richardson on Exiscan and SA.
Matt Cook on system security.
There is also a possibility of Kaspersky sending someone along to talk
about AV but they are a commercial organisation and I don't want them to
just come along and try to sell things.
If you would be interested in coming along then please let me know so I
can estimate if there will be enough people to make it viable. Also let
me know if there is any subject you would really like to see covered.
Could probably do with another couple of speakers, so if anybody wants
to volunteer and you have a good talk that you know will be of interest
to mail managers then please let me know.
Costs are likely to be in the £85.00 per candidate region but may come
down if there is a large response.
Regards
