XT-Mail provides content scanning in email messages using the exim local_scan.
It works after the sending client has completed the SMTP data phase and waits
for an answer from the servers. Messages containing unwanted content can be rejected,
redirect or blackholed. For virus scanning only F-Protd Daemon is supported and for
spam scanning only Spam Assassim. There is no need for special directores or mime
support. The message is scanned while in the exim input spool. F-Protd will take
care of the mesage if compacted attachments exist.
There is also a full version of XT-Mail wich implements per-user (per-rcpt) content scanning,
individual users can set if they want virus/spam content scanning.
