Hi all, I'm using exim-4.12 and am having a problem with the following
userforward director.
userforward:
driver = redirect
allow_filter
check_ancestor
check_local_user
directory_transport = address_directory
no_expn
file = $home/.forward
file_transport = address_file
pipe_transport = address_pipe
reply_transport = address_reply
I am getting the following error:
9475 unable to set gid=1000 or uid=1000 (euid=1): userforward router
(recipient is realuser@???)
9475 SMTP>> 421 Unexpected failure, please try later
My exim binary is setuid root as shown here:
root@hermes:/usr/local/exim/bin# ls -l exim-4.12-2
-rwsr-xr-x 1 root daemon 650808 Jan 31 12:06 exim-4.12-2
Though i'd rather _not_ have it run suid if possible. I'm just trying to
get this issue resolved. Any ideas?
