I hope that in your lookup hosts router (the one with driver=dnslookup),
you also have a line (or lines):
| ignore_target_hosts = 127.0.0.0/8 : \
| 10.0.0.0/8 : \
| 172.16.0.0/12 : \
| 192.168.0.0/16
The more people do this, the better.
