One of our mailing lists has about 500 subscribers, most of which
are on remote domains. After processing by Listar Exim gets the
message with all these recipients. Routing takes about six
minutes, mostly due to DNS requests timing out. After that, the
delivery (parallel in 8 processes) is quite fast, with all the
addresses inside .il (about 250) delivered in about 45 seconds.
Is there any way to parallelize routing, like remote_max_parallel
parallelizes delivery? This, and the ability to start transports
for addresses as soon as routing is known would be great, maybe
grouping the addresses by domains.
