I was actually more interested in some state that can be preserved
during the whole transaction, so that one could have a sort of
scoring or conditional system without having to write (and run) a
multitude of complex acls.

I had my recipies too, but now that I have taken another domain with
about 12 (!) users, I cannot apply them blindly. I have instead
adopted three RBLs, and will see how they'll compare (my old rules
are still tagging the messages, before the rbls, so I can see which
one performs better).

Probably Philip will not read this far... but I would really like to
have counters or string variables (just a handful).
