[Exim] timeout on verify_sender setting?

Hello,

I would like to lower the number of seconds that Exim waits before it
times out if the response of the remote server takes too long when
verifying the sender.

I have read the docs, but I'm not sure if what I found (adding
"/callout=10s") is what I need. Could some clarify me here?

I'm running 4.12.
