Now that's interesting. That is a new warning that I put in. It
shouldn't make any difference to the behaviour of Exim.
Which OS are you using? This looks like another case where SIGCHLD is
being ignored. (Some OS have the default different to others.) I've
previously had to deal with that in other parts of Exim; presumably I've
forgotten about it here.
I will send you a patch to try as soon as I can, but it may not be today
(I am going to a funeral this afternoon).
