I read this as "you can set up a dns-based list that will cause a netblock
to be accepted". So you create a list which is eg.:

$ORIGIN 215.34.10.whitelist.domain.tld
$GENERATE 1-254 $ IN A 127.0.0.1

which would then allow all the hosts in 10.34.215.0/24

If I'm understanding correctly, this doesn't seem to be how you're using it.
