Now we are using
exim3... + exiscan(perl)
to check our emails against known viruses (using sophie daemon)
I've already compiled exim4 (with the exiscan patch)...but I think, that
this solution has some problems for us:
Old situation (with separated viruschecks with exiscan):
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
In the previous exiscan.cf file I could configure
message-texts to notify senders or receiver if a virus was found.
(not seen in new versions (?))
I also could configure warning-messages to notify receivers of
such emails, which the sophie daemon couldn't check
... encrypted emails
... splitted files/archives
(For these errors of sophie I've changed exiscan:
exiscan accepts these emails (with those errors) and delivers them
but also delivers a warning email (new configured in exiscan.cf)
to the receiver, that he has to be carefully by opening his
received email, which sophie couldn't scan)
What can I do to configure/change the new versions from exim/exiscan
to "save" our previous viruscheck-management ???
