You're right, as usual. The regularity of the deliveries
(see below), made me think it was related to the queue runs
(which also happen every 15 minutes). But I see now that the
log file tells me that this is not the case.

I sniffed the traffic from "naos" to my mail server on port
25, which is, of course, what I should have done in the
first place, and discovered that the MUA in question is
Netscape 4.79. It's still a mystery to me where this process
is running (it's not on naos), but i'll probably figure it
out.

Sorry for blaming Exim, and thanks for the help.
