Hello,
Just moved to the latest Exim. In my log I see a lot of the errors that are
shown below:
2002-11-25 00:57:15 SMTP call from (noord-holland.nl) [210.100.223.125]
dropped: too many unrecognized commands
2002-11-25 02:38:51 SMTP call from bdsl.66.14.18.114.gte.net (altavista.com)
[66.14.18.114] dropped: too many unrecognized commands
2002-11-25 04:38:58 SMTP call from pd99.elblag.sdi.tpnet.pl (yahoo.com)
[217.96.135.99] dropped: too many unrecognized commands
2002-11-25 07:59:26 SMTP call from (webmail.co.za) [202.164.175.234] dropped:
too many unrecognized commands
With Google I found some references to a bug in Postfix that was causing this.
But a telnet to for example webmail.co.za gives Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service. I
also saw several other mailservers.
What settings can I put in the config to allow also "faulty" hosts. I run
exiscan with SpamAssasin support, so I'd rather catch the spam later on.
