No, it's the *host* that is sending the message. Nothing to do with the
domain.
However, I've diagnosed your problem. Your MX record does not point to
your host:
mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk. MX 7 ppsw.cam.ac.uk.
ppsw.cam.ac.uk. A 131.111.8.12
ppsw.cam.ac.uk. A 131.111.8.13
ppsw.cam.ac.uk. A 131.111.8.14
The RBL checking is happening in ppsw.cam.ac.uk, before it passes
messages on to you.
