Sujet: [Exim] CRAM-MD5 testing
I am trying to test my CRAM-MD5 authentication, but it is not working. I can
not tell wich part is not working, the client side or the server side.
I am using:
cram:
driver = cram_md5
public_name = CRAM-MD5
server_secret = "${if eq{$1}{david}{password}fail}"
server_set_id = $1
on the server which I believe is much the same as all the examples and is the
simplest available.
My SMTP conversation goes something like this:
S: 220 david.parguild.prv ESMTP Exim 3.36 #1 Sun, 10 Nov 2002 21:08:34 +0000
C: EHLO bob

S: 535 Incorrect authentication data
Can someone tell me where to lart myself.
TIA.
