Hello Tony,
it's debian woody, i just put it in etc/init.d/exim!
my problem was rather that i didn't know if i should put
both commands in there
now it looks like
start-stop-daemon -start .../exim.pid -exec $DAEMON -q10m
start-stop-daemon -start .../exim.in.pid -exec
$DAEMON -bd -odq -DSPOOL_DIRECTORY...
it seems to work right ...
and i think i understand the mechanism
the exim.in receives the incoming mail puts it to exim.in, but doesn't
deliver (queue) and the
"normal" exim delivers this mail every ten minutes?
