I entered this line in my config and it works great!

helo_allow_chars = _

Some may argue that I shouldn't do that and make other servers fix their
syntax error, but my goal is to allow my clientsa to get my emails. A
client calls all upset because they can't receive mail from certain people
and there's no way i am going to start saying "Well, there isa standard
out there whereby you don't use underscores....." and all the whil;e my
client thinks "I can't get mail and you suck"

On occasion I notice a server with the underscores and send them a message
saying they're asking for trouble.
