frankly, without any specific interest or issues you're likely to
face, i don't think these kinds of questions make too much sense.

i, as for one, am running exim on many sites, one of those holds ~60k
mailboxen, ~30k mails per day, on a p3/550 and a single scsi disk for
the maildirs. besides mailing, the box has a heavily hit hobbysql
server and a slightly hit apache server as well; if i wouldn't be
satisfied i probably wasn't running it ;>
