They are in the directory tree below 'exim -bP spool_directory'
but you probably don't really need to know that. :-) You can
cleanly manipulate the frozen messages using the '-M'* family
of exim options (look at -Mt, -Mvb, -Mvh, -Mrm, -Mg...).
