Exim can be made to accept syntactically invalid hostnames with one of the
global settings (the exact one escapes me at the moment but it is simple to
find in the documentation). However, I've had pretty good luck with
contacting the owners of the improperly named host and explaining that
underscores are not allowed. For some reason this particular naming flaw
seems to plague administrators of exchange servers.
