Tempting maybe, but dangerous. Suppose that a sender address (such as
...-request) for a list maintained outside your empire expands into
multiple recipients inside it. Or one can imagine situations where
ProfessorX@??? forwards copies of all his e-mail to both
SecretaryA@??? _and_ SecretaryB@???. In either case
error reports will arrive with multiple recipients (if the remote
MTA is up to it, anyway).
