I recently sent Philip a sample Exim 4 config which uses LDAP lookups
against Exchange and routes valid Exchange addresses to the Exchange
system via a manualroute router. It works fine with Exchange 5.5 and will
probably work without problems against 2000 as well (assuming the formatting
of email addresses in Exchange's LDAP-accessible directory is the same --
and even if it's not, it's probably simple to update it to work with 2000)

While it hasn't yet been included in the config.samples archive on the
ftp sites, it probably will be before too long. If you (or anyone else)
would like a copy in the mean time, send me an email offlist.
