We use something like:
${lookup ldap {user=\"${lookup ldapdn{ldap:///o=ac,c=uk?sn?sub?(&(uid=$2))}{$value}{no}}\" pass=$3 ldap:///o=ac,c=uk?sn?sub?(&(uid=$2))}{yes}{no}}
in server_condition for LDAP SMTP Auth.
