[Exim] exim for mailing list

Hi,

I am trying to configure a mailing list for a friend. He is using Auto Response Plus for the mailing list and its running on a Red Hat machine using Exim. Is there a sugessted configuration for Exim so that it will operate faster? Thee are about 60,000 emails it sends out. But they stay in queue and end up not getting sent out. I have the max queue set to 100. Is there anything else I can do?
