They may not be up-to-date. The web site is managed asynchronously (and
not by me). The docs for 4.04 are a combination of the 4.00 manual plus
the doc/NewStuff file in the Exim 4.04 distribution.


This might be a good point to remind the list of the way I work:

. An x.x0 release (e.g. 4.10) contains fully up-to-date documentation in
text form. There will be corresponding separate files for the
PostScript, PDF, Texinfo, and HTML versions of the documentation, all
with the same release number.

. An x.xy release where y != 0 (e.g. 4.11) contains the x.x0 manual, plus
a file called doc/NewStuff in which any new features are described.

. All changes, whether new features or bug fixes, are documented briefly
in doc/ChangeLog. (I prune it to the most recent releases from time to
time.)

. The NewStuff and ChangeLog files for each release are separately
available on the ftp site in the directory called ChangeLogs.
