Hello,
i'm running Exim 3.33 and i want to the mta to use a my isp's
smtp server for relaying. I have looked through the documentation
at exim.org but i found the it a bit confusing.
I have searched the archives and as far as i understand it i have
to set up a smart_route for that (right?).
Can anyone help me out with that? Or point me to the appropriate manual?
Thanks alot,
Tom
Here is the only thing i have in the ROUTER CONFIGURATION section
of the config:
######################################################################
# ROUTERS CONFIGURATION #
# Specifies how remote addresses are handled #
######################################################################
# ORDER DOES MATTER #
# A remote address is passed to each in turn until it is accepted. #
######################################################################
smart_route:
transport = remote_smtp
driver = domainlist
route_list = "* smtp.myip.net"
And here is the log (mainlog) output that i get if i try to send any mail
(to 'email@sendto_domain.net' for example):
