Note there is a bug in the messy routers I sent you (I put something
similar into my test suite). The one that sets up the second widening
uses $address_data to get the original domain. Or at least it tries to.
That won't work because it has already reset address_data to empty
before running the router. Use $original_domain instead. Or use a regex
to fish the first component out of the current $domain.

This has actually stirred up a rather large can of nasty worms. Fixing
it is going to touch quite a few different source files. It will
probably be easier to make a complete test release rather than try to
generate patches. But I'll be in touch...
