Subject: [Exim] local_domains @ not expending correctly
I have a default exim configure file that I use on all of our mail servers -
recently I threw it on a set of servers named
mail1.cornerstonecapitalpartners.com and
mail2.cornerstonecapitalpartners.com. Worked like a charm - except that
local mail sent to the root alias wasn't working. A little digging turned
up the problem, my local_domains domain list wasn't matching the mail.
Setting primary_hostname solved the problem, but I don't think it should be
necessary. My local_domains includes @ and both the hostname and uname -a
commands produce the full proper hostname for both machines (copied below):

hostname:
mail1.cornerstonecapitalpartners.com

uname -a:
FreeBSD mail1.cornerstonecapitalpartners.com 4.6.1-RELEASE-p10 FreeBSD
4.6.1-RELEASE-p10 #5: Tue Aug 6 08:18:45 EDT 2002
dpowers@???:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/MAIL i386

Is there a way for me to see what the @ is actually expanding to (I tried
several debug options and none of them seemed to do the trick) or does
anyone have any idea why on these two machines the @ variable wouldn't
expand properly?
