Onderwerp: [Exim] sender address rewrite
Hi,

I have read the relevant section of the FAQ, which gives the following
rewrite rule for sender addresses only:

    *@*.your.domain    $1@???    Ffrs

However, this doesn't seem to be working for me, as i get the following:

                -- <snip> --

>From someone@??? Mon Aug 5 11:40:47 2002

Return-path: <someone@???>

                -- <snip/> --

Some hosts reject mail from sonic.ku.ved.mydomain.com, because that
domain doesn't exist - the host sonic is inaccessble from the outside.
So I get mail delivery errors saying the Sender does not exist. Am I
wrong in assuming that the rewrite rule above will get rid of the host
part in sender address?

Kindest regards,

            --ibs.
