Subject: [Exim] [exim4] ignoring non-existent files in lookups
failed to expand "${lookup{$local_part}lsearch*{/etc/mail/domain_aliases/$domain}}": failed to open /etc/mail/domain_aliases/tantrix.realprogrammers.com for linear search: No such file or directory

system_domain_aliases:
#!!# optional option removed
driver = redirect
allow_defer
allow_fail
data = ${lookup{$local_part}lsearch*{/etc/mail/domain_aliases/$domain}}
file_transport = address_file
pipe_transport = address_pipe
retry_use_local_part
user = mail

(generated from v4.10's convert script)

It seems that removing that "optional" has made it, well, mandatory...
Is there some way to persuade exim 4 of its optional-ness once again?
(Corollary is I suppose could the convert script not have done this
itself?)

Cheers,
Paul
