while the advice generally is true, i think in this case it is
irrelevant. the original poster is using cyrus, which is a kind of
self-contained, closed system. it does not need to muck around in
${home}, so the home directory can have any kinds of permissions; it
was just localuser choking up on it (which i presume he is using to
check the validity of the address). cyrdeliver does the delivery all
by itself, kinda independent from ${home}.
cyrus is a damn different world ;)
