I hate to point this out to you, but I think you might be missing the point
somewhere.
The original question was about why the "dangerous types" quick-hack
system filter rejects stuff. What you may or may not realise, is that
M$'s engines almost all act on the filename rather than the MIME type.
We're all well aware of what the standards say. Some of us have seen
broken Microsoft products doing stupid things. The system filter is
supposed to catch that.
Now if you'll kindly get back under your bridge and stop picking up
fag-ends in a discussion.
