Exim has to set the return path to something. If you don't want it to be
the login name, you have to find a way of telling Exim what you want it
to be. The two established methods are
1. Use of the -f option.
2. Use of a "From " line at the start of the message.
Exim supports both of these (for trusted users), and lots of software
uses one or the other.
