Please reply to me as I'm not on the list.
I'm using Debian/exim on a new server replacing a RedHat/sendmail box.
The server is multi-homed, with one IP indentified in DNS as mail.
All mail for users is captured on the server. I'm using getmail to pull
mail in from external mail servers.
The problem is getting mail frozen when it comes from other
internal machines. For instance, a web server takes orders and email them
to mail. The web server appends the domain name to it, the server
receives it, but freeze delivery with the message:
label@??? <label@mail>: remote host address is the local
host
What do I need to do to have exim deliver to mail on itself?
Thanks.
