That's something different. I understood the original question to be
about accessing two different ISPs, whose IP addresses were accessible
via different interfaces. Normal routing should take care of this.

If you can get to the same IP address through two different interfaces,
I don't know (a) how to set up the routes nor (b) how the TCP/IP stack
behaves. You need a routing expert.

If you need to specify the interface explicitly, yes, indeed, that's
true.
