Sure. Different people think in different ways, and I don't necessarily
think you're wrong for calling it an ACL, however, some, like myself, who
have some experience writing firewall rulesets might think of the "ACL"s
in exim as more like a firewall ruleset or rule-chain. This was more my
point, to the original poster who was asking about ordering.
I haven't got to that bit in the Exim 4 spec, and I haven't got round to
converting yet (though I see you included the dsearch lookup, which means
I no longer have to patch exim to have that functionality. :-)
MBM (did have a plan for converting to Exim 4 on his home machine, but it
went sadly wrong....)
