I've heard that SquirrelMail is good, but I don't use any web-based
mailers myself. I actually met the people who started squirrelmail
at a conference last weekend. SquirrelMail uses an IMAP server to
access the mail store. It doesn't care how your SMTP server (exim)
delivers the mail as long as your IMAP server (eg courier-imap or
uw-imapd) can access it.
