Author: Patrice Fournier Date: To: exim-users Subject: [Exim] Not qualifying all local mail
Hi all,
I'm currently running AMaViS in the usual setup: a transport deliver the
message to AMaViS which send it back to Exim with protocol scanned-ok.
This means that any unqualified address in the headers (unqualified
envelopes are rejected at smtp time) get qualified by Exim as it receives
the mail from a local user. Beside calling AMaViS from local_scan which
I'll experiment with later, is there a way to have Exim not qualify any
message which comes with a protocol different than local even though it is
called locally? Or even not qualify when the calling user is amavis? I'd
prefer not to have to set AMaViS to talk SMTP.
